Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Report requests: the business name, website, trade and area you enter, and the email address the report is sent to.
• Your account: your email address and sign-in details, handled by our authentication provider, Clerk.
• Payments: Stripe processes payments. We never see or store your full card number. We receive only details such as the plan you bought and whether the payment succeeded.
• Technical data: your IP address, which we use to limit abuse of the free report, and the cookies needed to keep you signed in.

How we use it

We use this information to produce and deliver reports, run your account, bill for plans you choose, stop abuse, and answer you when you get in touch.

Who we share it with

To produce a report, we send the business name, trade and area to the AI services we measure: OpenAI, Perplexity, Google Gemini and, for Google AI Overviews, DataForSEO. We do not send them your email address.

Service providers who run parts of LocalLister for us also process data on our behalf. They include Clerk (sign-in), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Inngest (background processing) and Zoho ZeptoMail (email). We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep reports and account information while your account is active, or for as long as we need them to provide the service. We keep payment records for as long as the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing support@locallister.app. We will reply within 30 days. Deleting an account also removes the reports attached to it, but we keep records we are legally required to hold.

Children

LocalLister is a business service and is not meant for anyone under 18.
